Telegraf Enterprise is for teams running Telegraf as critical production infrastructure. It pairs Telegraf Controller — a centralized console for managing Telegraf fleets — with official InfluxData support for both the Controller and the Telegraf agent. If you’re operating anywhere from dozens to tens of thousands of agents, it gives you one place to manage configs, roll out changes safely, and monitor fleet health. As part of this, we’ve also released Telegraf Controller v1.0.0 (free for anyone to download and use).
And to be clear: open source Telegraf isn’t changing. The agent, the 400+ plugins, and the community continue exactly as they are. Telegraf Enterprise is an optional layer on top for teams who’ve outgrown scripts and manual config management.
Start for free. Telegraf Controller is free up to 20 configs and 100 agents, and includes:
• Centralized config management with templates + parameter substitution
• A visual configuration builder for Telegraf’s plugin ecosystem (no hand-writing every line of TOML)
• Fleet health monitoring across all your agents
A Telegraf Enterprise license raises those limits and adds audit logging, LDAP/OIDC integration, and commercial support — and you can upgrade in place by adding a license to an existing Controller install, no migration required.
