Storage usage of metrics

Hi,

Is there any best practice to analyse which metrics consume most storage?
I mean to identify the largest db/retention is fairly easy, but how to get more detailed statistics?

The _internal database has some statistics that should be able to help you.

@jackzampolin thanks for your answer. I’m currently not aware of any metrics on metric level.
Also within the documentation I didn’t see any hints into this direction.
Afaik the smallest granularity would be shard based statistics.
Could you maybe provide me any concrete example?
