Kapacitor Deadman node and unregular activity

I use Kapacitor to monitor some apps. These are used from 9-17 on a regular day basis (Monday Friday). I want to implement deadman nodes in order to detect potential issues on my infra. But if my apps are idle they won’t populate anything into influx, so I’ll get a bunch of alerts. Is there a way to limit deadman alerting based on timeofday/day besides changing via some crontab entries how I’m monitoring my activity?
