Kapacitor Alert only trigger by x amount of duration

Hi all,

I would like to know if it is possible to have kapacitor to trigger alert when the threshold was breach for x amount of duration.

I have try StateDuration but it doesn’t seem to be the right one to use it.

Example:
I would like kapacitor to only send alert when CPU usage breach 80% threshold for a duration of 5 minutes.

Back then yes. You will need to create a custome TICK script for that.

However i unable to share the solution because i no longer have access to the code.

This however it is smth similar.You can take a look.
