The reason I am getting frustrated is that everyone keeps posting about Docker, I am not using Docker.

The only place docker is mentioned is as an aside in the first bullet point. The fact that you arenā€™t using Docker simply means that you should ignore that aside.

If thereā€™s something thatā€™s confusing, you should ask for clarification on the specific confusing aspect. From what Iā€™ve observed, people here seem pretty helpful if you actually engage courteously.
