InfluxDB Docker 'latest' tag is changing to InfluxDB 3 Core

On April 7, 2026, the latest tag for InfluxDB Docker images will change from pointing to InfluxDB 2 to pointing to InfluxDB 3 Core. If you have deployed an InfluxDB instance with Docker and are relying on the latest tag to retrieve updates, e.g. via docker pull influxdb:latest, this change will break your deployment the next time you pull the Docker image after April 7. To avoid an unexpected upgrade, we recommend using specific version tags in your Docker deployments: docker pull influxdb:2.
