I made up some mornitoring systems using telegraf, influx, grafana.
I tried not installing agents on individual server but collectiong via one central collecting server.
I searched some options, but I couldn’t find answer.
SO, here is my question. Can telegraf set as pull not push?
You have two main options here. You can either use the syslog input to receive syslog messages over the network or you can use the logparser input plugin if you are running a service to store all the logs on a server and are doing the logic to get the logs there with something else. Wow, talk about a run on.
