We haven’t announced a release date for 1.8, but you can subscribe to the InfluxData Blog or follow us on Twitter @InfluxDB to be notified as soon as the release drops!
You can also try the nightly builds of the current development state. There may be bugs, so be warned, but we always appreciate any testing you can provide.
What different nightly build and version build?
The nightly builds are change frequently and have not been manually tested, the versioned builds are stabilized by halting changes and fixing only bugs without adding any potentially destabilizing features.
