Telegraf Agent Host System Load Increases Every 7 hours

I am using tick stack to monitor my infrastructure… It appears on my telegraf agent hosts … System load increases every 7 hours …I would like to know where I can troubleshoot it more …any relevant logs ?

I too also see high cpu usage every 7 hours caused by telegraf but haven’t uncovered a solution. Did you find anything when you investigated this issue?

I think you are experiencing this issue: high load average every 1h 45m · Issue #3465 · influxdata/telegraf · GitHub. Its been awhile, but if I recall correctly, it turned out to be a oddity in the way Linux computes load. Setting an agent collection_jitter may be helpful in reducing it.
