# Is there a limit on the number of values per tag?

Hello! I have the task to store a large number of messages, they need to be indexed in addition to the time and by user ID. Users can be more than 100.000. This case is possible in influxdb?

Hi @AiFreeWay,

100,000 users shouldn’t be a problem for InfluxDB. I’d suggest you ensure TSI is enabled, which will certainly help as your cardinality increases.
