I think you just can’t unless you add more RAM, even temporarily just to be able to start it up and delete some data. The other option is to edit the DB “offline”, the only official option I know is to use the [Influx\_inspect\_utility](https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb/v1.8/tools/influx_inspect/)… Honestly, I’m not aware of other commands or utils to delete data offline, I had a look around and saw this kind of issue several times, lots of suggestions but not confirmed solution.
