# http://localhost:8086 these is not working

Hey Aman, if you’re trying to install InfluxDB, I’d recommend checking out our documentation:

- [For InfluxDB v1](https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb/v1/introduction/install/)
- [For influxDB v2](https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb/v2/install/)
- [For InfluxDB v3, the newest version of InfluxDB](https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb3/core/install/)

These should have thorough walkthroughs. Different version of InfluxDB have different ways of accessing and visualizing data.

I think based on your screenshot, it looks like you’re trying to install and run v2. Make sure after you’ve installed it, you run `influxd run` in a terminal to start the Influx service. If you’re running v3, you’ll want to use the InfluxDB Explorer UI, which comes bundled in the installation scripts and can be accessed on port `8888` by default, not `8086`.
