# Configuration of max-val-per-tag

even after changing max-val-per-tag to 0 in confif file tag limit error is coming…any reason??

Welcome! Can you please provide more information? What does your telegraf config look like? How many series are you trying to write per second and what is your cardinality?  
Finally, can you please share the exact error and versions?
